Foot-stomping, heart-pounding, finger-clicking good old fashioned soul music.

Songs

The Soul Jam has developed a large selection of material that covers a range of legendary names from the soul genre. When people ask ‘what songs do you play’, we often ask them to imagine The Blues Brothers band meeting The Commitments and then Stevie Wonder coming along to join the party! Depending on the event, we’ve also got a handful of newer songs that fit perfectly with both the style and sound of the band.

Below is a list of some of the material covered by The Soul Jam. When a client books us for their event, we do seek to tailor the set list based on their requirements. The band is happy to learn new material to meet specific requirements or themes – such as first dances at weddings – but we also ask that a client puts their trust in us. We’ve developed a great understanding of what makes a show work, and we’re always confident that we can deliver the right show for the right audience.
