Soul Aid 2018 – Saturday 2nd June
Soul Aid is the band’s annual fundraising event.
Held in the fantastic Metrodome Arena in Barnsley, the 650 capacity event sees the band take to the stage in a beautiful indoor marquee to deliver a two-hour soul spectacular. The show features support from other live musicians and bands, with all the proceeds from the event donated to good causes. Since Soul Aid was launched in 2011, and the event has since donated over £13,000 to charities.
The arena is set out in tables of 10, with a large dance floor area in front of the stage. The venue features two fully stocked bars and also operates a food concession that sells hot food and snacks.
Having taken a rest in 2016, Soul Aid returned for 2017 on Friday 23rd June, moving from a winter event to a summer one.
Information regarding our 2018 event – posted Monday 5th February 2018
600 tickets will be available for the 2018 show, which will feature a 2-hour performance by The Soul Jam as well as two live support acts. Details of the support artists will be announced in the coming months. Two bars will operate throughout the evening, and hot food and snacks will also be available.
Tickets will go on sale at 8pm on Thursday 15th February. We are using an online ticketing service this year, which means there will be no cash sales. As in previous years, tables/seats will be allocated from front to back on a strictly first-come, first-served basis.
The ticket price for 2018 will be £15, which is a £5 increase from 2018. Since Soul Aid first moved to the Metrodome Arena in 2013, the ticket price has been maintained at £10, so we feel that we’ve given our guests great value for money. As our plans to make the show bigger and better have grown, we feel that the price increase for 2018 will allow us to cover the cost of staging the event whilst still being able to make a significant sum of money for good causes.
Thank you to everyone in advance for your support, and we can’t wait to show you what we’ve got planned for this year…
